He will talk about making movies and the history of fan films in Australia. 2:15pm – Break 2:30pm – Guest speaker – Cheree Peters – author of Time Catcher and Time Warper 3:15pm – update from Librarian & President regarding the library, followed by general socialising time. 4pm – Close Edendale Farm is a nice place, primarily a farm, but also used for many public events and gatherings including educational forums etc. It is confirmed that they will have baby lambs and goats in September (yay!) Tea and coffee facilities will be provided and snacks will be available for purchase. There is also a cafe on site serving ‘real’ coffee for those who want it. There is parking on site (enter through Gastons Rd), although it can get busy, so there is also ample parking at the Eltham North Adventure Playground (currently under construction), and there is a bridge and walkway via the back entrance of Edendale. Cost: gold coin donation for members, $5 non-members Children aged 14 and under free but MUST be accompanied by an adult. Some children’s activities will run, but children MUST be accompanied by an adult as we do not have childminding facilities.
